Easter 2015!!!

This Easter we headed to Grumpa and Grammy's house for Easter weekend.  We decorated our eggs the weekend before.  Lauren picked out Spider Man themed eggs and was very excited to get started.  She was much gentler with the eggs and it was fun to create some cute eggs.  She even tried using the wax crayon and made some adorable polka dots and squiggles on the eggs.  Charlie joined us, in his high chair, and was not very interested in the process.  Hopefully he will be happier to join in next year!

Once we arrived in Hebron, we spent Saturday working at Sarah & Kevin's house to get things ready for the wedding.

The next day, on Easter morning, Lauren and Charlie woke up to see if the Easter Bunny visited.  He did!  He clearly enjoyed some of the carrots that Lauren left out for him and dropped off a scooter, stuffed bunnies, small toys, money, and a lot of chocolate for the kids!!

After breakfast, we headed outside for a big Easter Egg Hunt!!  Lauren had a great time searching for the eggs, and her competitive side really came out.  She did not like it when Charlie found an egg.  He found 2!!

Mee-maw, Aunt Sarah and Kevin joined us for Easter dinner.  Once we were full from the delicious meal, we moved the party out to the garage, where Lauren began giving everyone rides on her new scooter.  It was quite fun, but also very dangerous.  There were more than one close calls.

Poor Charlie held out as long as he could, but eventually he passed out as Aunt Sarah held him.

Proof that a good time was had by all!!

Happy Easter!!

Aunt Sarah & Kevin's Wedding Shower!!

On March 22nd, we all came together, at Pemberton Coffee House, to celebrate Aunt Sarah and Kevin!

We enjoyed a LOT of delicious food (we had so much that we enjoyed the food again later that night)

We played some fun games.  Boy am I glad that we have photographic evidence of this!

And we all enjoyed each other's company!

What a great afternoon, and it was a precursor to all of the fun we will have at their wedding in a month and a half!  I can't wait!!
