Yo Ho Ho! I survived a swashbuckling adventure wit me matey and me sea pups!
Canons were fired, swords were drawn, treasure was opened,
the view was amazing, and no one fell in! Success!!
Towards the end of August, Chad and I decided to surprise the kids with a pirate adventure down the Potomac River. We boarded at the Georgetown waterfront, and the kids loved it. There were pirate lessons, pirate dances, tattoos/face-painting (although Lauren refused to do those because she wanted to leave her skin clean), a water canon battle, and the kids got to pick out some treasure at the end. Oh, and the sights were not too bad either. Everyone had a good time and we hope to make this a yearly tradition!!
