For Christmas, Chad and I received an air hockey table from Mee-Maw, Grandpa, Aunt Sarah and Uncle Kevin. After finishing off the bar, we decided to go ahead and order it for delivery. It arrived in the middle of the day and the poor delivery man had quite a job moving that 350 pound box around. He got it into the garage, and I waited for Chad to get reinforcements before trying to get it into the basement.
Richard Ennis came over one night and the two of them managed to get it around the house and down the outside stairs to the basement. We weren't sure it would fit, and Chad had to remove a stair railing to provide extra space.
Once it was set up, Chad and I began some "Friendly" games versus each other!! Not to brag, but I have won more games than him so far!
While Lauren and Charlie also love the air hockey table, I am normally busy playing against them and have not gotten any photos. Lauren enjoys adding extra pucks and paddles to the game, and after a few minutes, she wants other people to play so that she can become the coach. Charlie just likes to climb up on a stool so that he can watch the action. He hasn't really gotten that competitive spirit yet.
But our family and friends have! When we have company, you will always hear the noise of the air hockey table. And depending on the family members, it can get quite serious! =)
So far, we love the air hockey table and I am looking forward to many more "friendly" competitions between family, friends, and kids in the future!
