On September 7, 2013, Chad and I gathered our families together for a photo shoot. We planned to meet up in Annapolis, so that we could photograph a special moment...revealing the news that we are expecting our second child in April 2014. Unfortunately, Aunt Sarah and Kevin had car trouble and were unable to make it for the photos. But, they already knew the big news, because I previously spilled the beans on Aunt Sarah's birthday. I was anxious to tell the rest of the family, so we went ahead with the shoot. The following photos captured the reveal perfectly!!

Chad, L'ie Bear and I are very excited to welcome this newest member to our family. =)

Nearly three years ago, we were expecting L'ie Bear. And while, at that time, we were preparing ourselves to become parents, there was no way I could have possibly imagined the love, happiness, and special moments that were headed our way. This time around, I can imagine some of that love and happiness, but the memories that await us are sure to astound me. Adding the Bear to our lives has been quite a trip; however, adding yet another child to our family is definitely going to be our biggest adventure yet.
Since I do not keep a journal, I would like to use this blog to document the preparations, the baby's arrival and our future experiences as we move from a family of three to a family of four. And hopefully, L'ie and her sibling can fondly look back at these posts as they grow up.
At this point, I am hopeful that the transition will be easy, but I realistically anticipate some hysterical and crazy blog posts in the future. So feel free to come along the journey with us, through this blog, and if you have any helpful tips or suggestions, I would love to hear them!!
