Sarah B Is Getting Married!!

On November 14th, Lauren, Charlie and I headed back to Salisbury for a special weekend.  Sarah wanted everyone to help her celebrate Kevin's birthday.  She made reservations at the Blue Dog Cafe, one of our favorite restaurants in Snow Hill, Maryland.  Little did she know that Kevin would be popping the question.  It was hard keeping the secret leading up to the night, and I certainly was not going to let Lauren know.  We did not want her to accidentally say something to Sarah B.

The Blue Dog Cafe is quite an experience.  The owner and his partner serve the customers AND sing while they work!  It is a lot of fun to watch and Kevin worked with them to arrange a special song for Sarah.  

Grandpa, Mee-maw, Grammy, Grumpa, Pastor Patty, her husband Andy, Lauren, Charlie, myself, Sarah, and Kevin all arrived at 7 pm.  We were seated at a table right up front, near the stage, and began to enjoy a nice "birthday" dinner!!

After the entrees were finished, John Legend's "All Of You" began and Kevin pulled Sarah up and away from the table.  He got down on one knee and we assume she said yes, because they came back to the table with big smiles on their faces and a shiny new diamond ring on her hand!!  

Charlie slept through most of it, but he did wake up when the restaurant broke out into applause.  Lauren could not stop staring at the ring and has now developed a love for all things sparkly and pretty.  Poor Chad!!

It was a great night and now we are preparing ourselves for the craziness of planning another wedding!  Can't wait for May 15, 2015!!!
