But we did manage to put together a tailgate for this season. Grumpa, Grammy, Grandpa, Mee-maw, Uncle Ryan, and Aunt Sarah met us up in College Park on a very cold and rainy day. John, the Bloughs, and most of the Shafer crew joined us later in the day.
Despite the nasty weather, we had a pretty good time. There was plenty of good food, we had a nice canopy to keep everyone dry, the kids were able to warm up and watch videos in the cars, Grandpa got to check out a helicopter parked nearby, and we were close enough to get to the Comcast Center. Charlie was a little under the weather, but we all took turns and snuggled up with him throughout the day. He certainly kept me nice and warm!!

No one went to the game that day, but now that we have a new head coach, perhaps that will change!! We will just have to wait until next year's football blog post! Until then, Go Terps!! =)
