Thanksgiving 2015

This year, we celebrated Thanksgiving at Mee-maw and Grandpa's house.   The whole Falicroft clan was there, and then Pastor Patty and her husband, Andy, joined us as well.  It was a nice evening, filled with great food, laughter, a photo of Charlie grabbing a turkey leg, and even a friendly Wii competition after dinner!

Friday night, Mee-maw, Grandpa, and I took the kids to Ocean City to see some Christmas lights.  It was a long wait, but worth it, and the kids were so well behaved.  We even got to see Santa, and I Charlie was not pleased.   I finally got my "Crying Kid" photo with Santa, and Lauren stepped right in to tell Santa what both she and Charlie wanted for Christmas.  Such a good big sister!  We finished off the night with some hot chocolate and cookies, before driving back home.

On Saturday, we all got together in the Civic Center parking lot to watch Grandpa fly his remote controlled plane.  Unfortunately, there were some complications and he was unable to get the plane off the ground, but that did not stop him from taking this photo!  Hopefully we don't actually watch the plane crash in the future.

After our maiden flight watch, Mee-maw and I took the kids to the park to run around a bit.  There is a very nice playground, near the zoo, in Salisbury, and Lauren loves it there.  Charlie has always been too hesitant to venture out, but this time, he took off.  It was fun to watch him explore the playground, and Lauren had a great time playing with Mee-maw.

That night, we all met up at the Fisher's house to watch Maryland and have dinner.  After devouring the lasagna, Grumpa was excited to compare his belly to Sarah's!  You be the judge!!

That night, we drove back to Mee-maw and Grandpa's house only to discover that we had left Clark Bear behind.  So we put Lauren and Charlie to bed, since it was so late, and I drove back over to the Fisher's house to get Lauren's security bear!  Happily, she was able to fall asleep without him and he was in her bed when she woke up.  But we all made sure to praise her for being such a big girl and going to bed without him.  This was a big step for all of us!!!

Sadly, the weekend came to a close and it was time to head home.  But we certainly enjoyed every minute of this holiday, and we are blessed to have such a wonderful family!!
