Charlie at 15 Months!!

It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating Charlie's First Birthday and now he was back at the doctor's office for his 15 month wellness visit.

He is still growing well and even jumped up on the the height and weight curves.

Weight: 23 lb 1 oz  (55%)
Height: 31.5 inches (63%)
Head Cir: 47.5 cm (70%)

His fine motor skills have been developing.  He now likes to use forks and spoons when eating.  He can throw a mean ball (but usually it is his sippy cup).  And he tends to do everything with his left hand!

He has also developed physically as well...

• TEETH:

Top 1st Molars: June 7th
Bottom 1st Molars: June 12th

Top 2nd Incisors: July 4th

• WALKING:

He began pulling up early and started walking, across rooms, with the assistance of a toy or human, on July 12th.

We are still waiting for him to take that first step unassisted.  He is capable of doing it and will stand up on his own, but he appears to be afraid to try.  I have a feeling that will change soon though!!

In other news, he climbs up on anything he can find!!

• First big boy bath, with his sister, on May 7, 2015.  He LOVES them!!

• First baseball game, at Potomac Nationals, on May 8, 2015.
• First airplane ride during our visit to San Francisco.  (Other than a a little crankiness during takeoff and landing, he did great!)

• First carousel ride in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco
• First meal at The Old Stein Inn, June 21, 2015.  He also loves German food...shocker!
• First time at the National Zoo, July 14, 2015.
• First time in a sprinkler, July 19, 2015.
• First time in a big boy carseat, July 25, 2015.  (He's in Lauren's old carseat and she's in a booster seat)

• First time riding in the front of the shopping cart, July 28, 2015, at Harris Teeter.

• First haircut, July 30, 2015.  He did not like it at all.  (Cartoon Cuts, Fair Oaks Mall)

• First amusement park ride, Hershey Park, August 8, 2015!!

There really hasn't been too many foods that Charlie has spit out.  And we have thrown some crazy tastes his way.  Here is a small sampling of crazy foods he liked and his current favorites...

He is growing up into a determined, intelligent, and sweet little boy.  And we are very excited to see what the future has in store for our little guy!
