Father's Day 2015

This year for Father's Day, we celebrated the entire weekend.  On Saturday, the kids and I took Chad out to Old Bust Head Brewery, which is located about 10-15 mins from our house.  It recently opend and we had never been, so a day celebrating Chad seemed like a great reason to try it out.

The place was not what we expected, because it was even better.  There were a lot of delicious beers, a BBQ food truck, and live music.  The kids even got to share a homemade root beer float.  Charlie really liked it...Lauren, not so much!

We spend the afternoon there and then came home to make Chad dinner.

The next day was actually Father's Day, and we met up with the entire family at The Old Stein Inn, in Edgewater, MD.  We had a table outside, and enjoyed some German food and live polka music.  Lauren had fun spraying everyone with a fan/water bottle.  It really felt good on such a warm day.  Charlie had fun eating as much German food as he could.  He especially loved the potato pancakes, schnitzel and sauerkraut!!

As we usually do at the Old Stein Inn, everyone had a great time.  It was very relaxed, delicious and fun.  The perfect way to celebrate these special Dads in our lives!!
