Meeting Thomas The Train Again!!

We decided to ride Thomas the Train Engine again this year, because the timing worked out well with our annual Hershey Park trip.  Lauren still really enjoys Thomas the Train, but Charlie has just started to become obsessed.  He loves to watch the show and has most of the characters to play with, thanks to big sister Lauren!

But before heading out, we took some time to enjoy the ducks who live at the hotel.  A few years back, we stayed at the same hotel and it was so fun to feed the ducks in the morning.  This year, both Lauren and Charlie had a lot of fun.

           

       

After some time with the ducks, we headed to Strasburg Railroad to see some trains.  This year, we were also able to ride Percy, who is my favorite really useful engine.  We decided to ride him first, because of the timing,  It was fun to watch Charlie and Quinnie because this was their first time on the trains.  I think they both liked it!!

                               

The next train ride was on Thomas!  Charlie loved to watch the faces on the trains.  Their eyes moved and they talked, which was pretty cool to see.  Everyone had a lot of fun on Thomas as well.

                     

                       

After riding the trains, and a little shopping, we all split up to head home.  It had been a busy 2 days and everyone was more than a little tired.  But I loved every minute of it, and am already looking forward to doing it again in future years!!
