This year, Chad managed to get tickets, through his office, to the Zach Brown Band concert at Jiffy Lube Live. I have been wanting to see them in concert and he surprised me. We got a babysitter and headed over early to tailgate. Ennis Electric has a set of great seats and VIP parking spots. We found our space, parked, and pulled out a small spread of bread and cheese.
Then, we headed into the VIP bar area and stopped for a quick cocktail. It was really hot and there was not much shade, but we still had a great time. And we knew that the sun would be going down soon.
The seats were amazing. We were in the front row, right behind the pit, and I was able to put my feet up and watch the show up close, without have to stand up. It was a great way to watch this amazing band. The show did not disappoint, and I think Chad was surprised that he knew more songs than he anticipated.
I know that this was not Chad's idea of a perfect concert. He is not a big country music fan, but he realized that I really like this band and have wanted to watch them in concert for some time. I had a blast and I think Chad had a fun time as well. Guess I owe him a concert now!
