The Underinkas came out East, this summer, and stopped by Gainesville for a visit. It was so nice to see SA, Mike, and Juliana. The last time we saw them was in May 2015, at Juliana's high school graduation. We were excited to hear how her first year of college went and there was big news. They sold their beautiful home and are moving into the Yellow House across the street. So there was a lot to catch up on!!
We hung out around the house. The kids loved showing off their new playground and their power wheel jeep. And Chad was excited to show off his new basement/bar. The King Charles was a big hit, and there was even some competitive air hockey match ups!
The Underinkas headed into DC for a day museum hopping, and then we all met up as a surprise for Mike's 65th birthday. We had a great dinner at Farmers Fishers Bakers, down at the DC waterfront. I think Mike was surprised and it was nice to try out a new restaurant. Chad and I will definitely head back there! Although it was a rather late night, the kids were troopers. They were both really well behaved, ate their dinner, and Mike shared his birthday cake with Lauren.

At the end of the night, we had to say goodbye. But Lauren was thrilled to see that her watch was similar to big cousin J's. This photo made her night, and ours as well!!
It was a quick few days, and we are already looking forward to the next Underinka invasion. Hopefully we will find a time to get out to SF to invade them!
