Harry Connick Jr.

This year, for my birthday and Mother's Day, Chad bought me tickets to see Harry Connick Jr. in concert.  I was soooo excited.  I am a huge fan and could not wait to see him perform!

Grumpa and Grammy babysat, so Chad and I could enjoy a nice grown-up dinner and the show.

Since the show was at Wolftrap, we decided to head to Vienna for dinner.  We received a recommendation for Clarity, and got reservations.  We enjoy trying new places and this one did not disappoint.

Not only was the food delicious, but it was also less than 10 minutes away from Wolftrap.  We arrived nice and early, parked, headed in, and ordered a bottle of wine to split while we waited for the show to start.

The show was amazing!  I love the venue at Wolftrap.  There is something magical about being outside, under the moon and stars.  Add in someone like Harry Connick Jr, and you just can't beat it!!  We were advised multiple times that photography was not permitted, so I was only able to sneak a quick photo.  But our seats were amazing, and soon I got caught up in the show, so it didn't really matter!!

Thank you Chad for such a wonderful gift.  I had a blast and the show, as a present, was a great idea!!  (hint hint)!
