This year, we decided to meet up at Hemmingway's on Kent Island. It was Aunt Sarah's first Mother's Day and we wanted to make sure to celebrate together.
There was a slight misunderstanding about the Mother's Day Brunch (and by misunderstanding, I mean the restaurant did not tell us that the brunch ended at 3, when we booked a table for 2:30). But they let us sit downstairs and order off the regular menu, so it actually worked out better.
We had the room to ourselves and enjoyed a delicious late lunch. It was fun to catch up and celebrate the moms in our family!! It is crazy how much has changed, and how much our family has grown in the last 5 years. It is definitely louder (if that is even possible) and more crazy, but I would never change that crazy for anything in the world. I am excited for plenty of crazy Mother's Day celebrations in our future.
